Photographs of My European Travels

In the spring of 2007 I set off on a solo journey across Europe. All I had was my backpack, rail pass, camera, and a sturdy pair of boots. By the time it was all said and done I spent nearly two months traveling through 12 countries. I slept on a train station bench, went skydiving out of a helicopter in the Swiss Alps (on a whim), and got lost every time I stepped off the train. I bathed in the Turkish baths of Budapest, biked through the Irish countryside, saw dozens of priceless artistic masterpieces, wondered the streets of Prague, and dined in Parisian cafes. I had no real plan - no travel books. I picked where I wanted to go based on the train schedules. I did so much, yet I hardly did anything.  I loved every second of it and would do it again in a heartbeat.
